"I do believe that Sandqvist was one of the pioneers in the sustainable fashion movement. The idea from the beginning was to make long-lasting bags in a simple yet beautiful design without unnecessary details. Long-lastig means the use of high-quality materials, the possibility to repair the bag if it breaks (in Sandqvist's own Repair Shops), and the 'less is more' Scandinavian design."

"Acting responsibly means not looking the other way when faced with difficult situations or questions. The entire industry is facing a huge challenge at the moment on how we can make the fashion industry carbon-neutral, because this is what we need to do to tackle climate change. This is a much bigger question than just using more recycled materials in our products, but we need to find answers to this urgently."
